The white board at Javalina's coffee shop always has some pretty cool dry-erase marker art. For those of you not from this region, that's a javelina doing the dive. I've seen them in the desert, but I've not in my iced latte, yet.

I live a half mile from the Courthouse Square up in Prescott -- and have a javelina problem. They came through last night, taste-testing several of my succulents: a sedum, the ice plant and most of my portulaca. For some reason, my property is on their route from higher on the hill to slightly lower elevations. They tried making a home under a neighbor's porch.
