Spoken like a Javalina

This beautiful Javalina was wandering around the BICAS booth during Saturday's Community Bicycle swap meet.  Made predominately out of bicycle spokes.  Very well done, I'd say.   My understanding is that it will be one of the items up for silent auction at the upcoming BICAS bicycle art auction/fundraiser in December.

  1. I know people who hate javelinas. Not sure they'd want a sculpture of one.

    1. true, I guess it all depends on where you see them. I know they can be a problem in some neighborhoods, especially when invited/encouraged by feeding (although they don't always need an invitation).

Personally, I enjoy seeing them, but I tend to see them in their natural habitat.
