6th Street was closed today as work continues on the massive infrastructure being built to support the UofA's new 7 million dollar, 5356 sq ft, video screen being installed at the football stadium's south end zone. The screen will be over 6 times the size of the existing video screen in the north end zone and will be the largest video screen in the new Pacific 12 Conference.
Over recent years it seems like more and more "live" events are putting up large screens so that attendees can see things as well as home viewers, plus be able to screen commercials at the event. Now is it just me or...?
